The Jockstrap

‘What do men wear down there ?’ It’s a taboo question but I’m sure many are curious to find what it is. Is it stuffed ? Is it a box ? Well I’ll tell you it’s none of those things, It’s a simple jock strap !

It’s made of 70% elastic and 30% cotton. It has an elasticated waist band so there are no restrictions in movement and a pouch at the front to support the genitalia. It looks a bit like a cricket box but it isn’t hard, it is designed purely for support.

Dependent on costume some men will wear a double jockstrap, for example if you are wearing white or pale tights - there’s no polite way of saying it, you don’t want anything to be too obvious....

Another crucial function of the jockstrap is to lift everything up from between your legs. Ballet requires men to jump, leap and beat their legs together - you can’t do that when you’ve got things swinging around, you don’t want every ballet to be  The Nutcracker!

Well there you go, that’s a jockstrap ! An important BalletStyle garment.
